Seleri to donate all prize money from The International
After leaving The International 11, Gaimin Gladiators support ??Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp said that he would donate all prize money from the championship to an animal shelter. The Esportsman posted it on his social media.
Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp:
I will be donating 100% of my TI winnings to a (charity) Animal Sanctuary that is in the works, will be a long term project that I will share more about in the future.
Thanks to my teammates for this tournament, I have spend more time with them this year than with my 'real' family. I consider every one of them one of my best friends and I hope this is not the end for us!
The Gaimin Gladiators finished 9-12 at The International 11, losing 1-2 to OG in the lower bracket. The team won 2% of the total prize money, which is $347,900. Without the organization's part, Melchior receives about $62,000.
When he was playing for Vikin.gg, ??Seleri admitted that he wanted to start a company that would benefit the environment and animals. Soon, the Esportsman promised to talk more about the shelter to which he would donate prize money.
