Team Liquid Down 0-3 In DreamLeague S26 Group Stage 2
Despite making their best DreamLeague Season 26 result in almost two years, Team Liquid continue to struggle at the online event. They are now at high risk of elimination from the second Group Stage.
The boys in blue are sitting at the bottom of the group with a horrendous 0-3 record. However, it is essential to remember that V-Tune is currently playing for the team as a stand-in.
So far, one of the biggest surprises of the event is Talon Esports, fresh off bringing 23savage back into the team. The Southeast Asian squad is sitting second in the group with a 2-1 record, with big wins over the Gaimin Gladiators and Nigma Galaxy. Their only loss so far was against PARIVISION, the only team with a flawless record as of now.
The series between the Gaimin Gladiators and Aurora was the most exciting of the third day, with a 63-minute third map to decide the series. Aurora’s attempt at a Mega Creep comeback was denied after the Gladiators punished their aggression in the base.
Apart from the two outliers, PARIVISION and Team Liquid, the entire second Group Stage remains highly competitive, as only one point separates the six remaining participants.
DreamLeague Season 26 is in its second Group Stage, where four out of eight teams will be eliminated. The tournament features a prize pool of $1,000,000 and will end on July 1.
