Esports World Cup 2025 Invitations Finalized - Aurora Makes The Cut
Aurora took down the Gaimin Gladiators in the fourth-place tiebreaker of DreamLeague Season 26. Not only did the Eastern European squad qualify for the Playoffs of the online event, but they have rounded up the list of invitations to the upcoming Esports World Cup 2025 tournament.
With Aurora's victory, they finished eight in the EPT Leaderboard. Talon Esports also secured their spot at the event yesterday, after guaranteeing a top-four finish at DreamLeague Season 26.
TORONTOTOKYO sent a message on the team’s qualification:
“Another slot for CIS, guys.”

Apart from the eight invitations, two other teams have secured a ticket to Riyadh. The Gaimin Gladiators receive a direct invitation, as they are the defending champions from last year. Xtreme Gaming qualified to the event by winning the Asian Champions League 2025, though the organization’s owner mentioned they were going to skip the event.
Meanwhile, the Playoffs of DreamLeague Season 26 will continue with four teams remaining.
The Esports World Cup 2025 will feature $3 million in prize pools, and will run from July 8 to 19 at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
