Vikin.gg and High Coast Esports took the last places in the DPC: EU Upper Division
The matches of the fifth game week of the DPC: EU Regional League have ended. Although all the teams that will leave the Upper Division have been determined, the struggle for reaching the major is still ongoing.
UPPER DIVISION INTERMEDIATE RESULTS
At the moment, we can confidently say that Team Secret will retain its first line in the standings. The team guaranteed itself a slot right into the playoff stage of the March Major.
The owners of the rest of the slots are still unknown. Immediately 5 teams fight for 3 of them. We have only 3 matches next week, but each one will be important.
Vikin.gg and High Coast Esports were the weakest teams in the Upper Division. They lost all chances of continuing the struggle, and in the second season, they will have to play in the Lower Division.
LOWER DIVISION INTERMEDIATE RESULTS
In the fifth week, two teams, Meta4Pro and burjui, were disqualified at once. The first one is for suspicion of involvement in match-fixing, the second one — for forging certificates. Thus, both of these teams finished in the Lower Division's last places and wouldn’t participate in Regional Leagues in the second season.
At the same time, the struggle for the top two lines continues. With a high probability next week, we will have replays between the Creepwave, Hellbear Smashers and Brame, if the latter win its fights.
There is one week left until the end of the first season. Already on February 24, we will find out the names of four teams from the European region that will go to ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021, which will be held in LAN format from March 25 to April 4 in Singapore.
