Team Spirit Win 1win Summer Series Over The Gaimin Gladiators
Team Spirit claimed another trophy in 2024, this time from the 1win Series Dota 2 Summer, a short $100,000 tournament. The two-time TI winners took down the Gaimin Gladiators in the Grand Final after a swift 3-1 victory.
The Gladiators were warming up their strategies for the upcoming Riyadh Masters 2024 tournament, as they picked Broodmother for dyrachyo three times, but could only win with it once. The Western European squad said “screw it,” and picked Beastmaster Carry for dyrachyo and crashed out of the tournament.
Overall, the 1win Series Dota 2 Summer wasn’t the most serious tournament, as only few Tier 1 teams participated in it. 1win and Entity Gaming finished 3rd-4th place after losing to the two finalists. Before the Grand Final, Entity and 1win played a 3rd place decider match, where ATF stood in for watson and won the series.
Team Spirit took home an easy $50,000 after only playing four days in the tournament.
