IeSF World Championship Playoffs 2020 canceled
The International Esports Federation (IESF) spoke about the cancellation of the IeSF 2020 World Cup playoff stage. The reason for this decision was the global situation with the pandemic.
The final stage of the IeSF 2020 World Championship was to take place in the Israeli city of Eilat in February 2021. It included competitions in the main esports disciplines such as DOTA 2, Tekken 7, and eFootball PES.
Along with the final stage's cancellation, the organizer noted that the total prize pool of $75,000 would be divided among the teams that took part in the qualifiers. The exact amounts will vary by region.
From Dota 2, there were to compete the national teams of the Czech Republic, Serbia, Turkey, Nepal, Vietnam, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Peru, Mexico, and Namibia at the IeSF 2020 World Championship.
