How was the first day of The International 10
The first game day of The International 10 is over, and we saw a lot of great battles. However, it wasn't without its difficulties. Here's how it went.
The day of play began with 2 unpleasant events. First, we found out that Team Aster midlaner ??Liu "DD斩首" Yuhao couldn't perform due to illness, and a team assistant ??86 would play instead. After that, there was a 1,5-hour delay in the tournament. Dota 2 Coordinator couldn't cope with the increased load on the server. As Valve fixed the problem, all the matches were on the schedule.
First day results
As you can see, after the first day, nothing is clear yet, but several sensations happened at once. First of all, beastcoast defeated Team Secret. The odds for that were over 8.0. Later, Invictus Gaming defeated Evil Geniuses. We should remember that the Chinese roster is also not playing in their optimal form. Several members of the team tested positive for COVID-19 and are isolated from the rest of the team.

The International 10 takes place from October 7 to 17 in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. It features 18 teams from different regions to compete for the prize pool of $40,018,195.
